This policy explains how thalosholdings.com uses cookies and similar local storage, and the choice you're given about them when you first visit.
Your Choice
On your first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Reject. Both options are given equal weight, and neither is required to use the site. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on later visits. Clear your browser's site data for thalosholdings.com to reset it and see the banner again.
What We Currently Use
The cookie thalos_locale remembers your chosen language for up to one year. Local storage (thalos-cookie-consent) remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. Session storage (thalos_register_modal_seen) remembers that you have already seen or closed our enquiry pop-up, so it isn't shown to you again while you browse; that one is cleared automatically when you close the tab. These preference records support the site behaving as intended and aren't affected by your Accept/Reject choice.
We do not include advertising or analytics scripts. The optional Instagram section connects to Instagram only after you choose to load it. Instagram may then use cookies and process your IP address and browser information under its own policy. You can remove the embed with Hide feed; this stops displaying it but cannot delete cookies already set by Instagram. You can manage those in your browser. The general banner does not automatically load Instagram.
Other Data
Information you submit through our enquiry form is handled separately, under our Privacy Policy. It isn't a cookie and isn't affected by this page.
